If you cannot wait for PC NetHack 2.3e to be posted to
comp.binaries.ibm.pc and have access to ftp, I have just uploaded it to
grape.ecs.clarkson.edu.  It is in the directory \f\uploads as
nhack23.arc.  (Ignore the file nhack23e.arc, which was an aborted
upload which I realized I was doing before I had set to BINARY mode.)
