I would like to know whether the source for PC empire (hopefully C 
source) is generally available, and where I can get it.

I want to get it so that it could be changed to handle multiple 
players playing against each other, and later maybe add a bunch of
new weapon types like tanks and troop transports.
The reason for the request is that we have a bunch of people over
here (UCLA computer club) who would like to play empire (the real
Unix empire) but cannot because of a lack of disk space.
