Lines: 19 I have a question on the initialization that a DECserver 100 goes thorugh when it is turned off and on. We have a DECnet system on campus. One of the terminal servers does not seem to be aware of the existence of one of the hosts (which is running Ultrix). The system administrator claims that a host is supposed to broadcast it address (i.e. its existence).. It seems like there are other ways that the initialization process can be done. One of the hosts might send the host table to the Decserver when it comes on line. I cannot get access to the Ultrix machine through this particular Decserver and I don't know what the answer is. Can anyone help. mark -- H.M. Hubey VOICE: 201-893-5269 hubey@OSultrix.montclair.edu hubey@pilot.njin.net hubey@apollo.montclair.edu
