Austin, Tx Lines: 15 Several days ago there was a fairly in-depth discussion posted by someone who is on the board that reviews and determines the standards for twisted pair ethernet. Several proposals from venders (3com etc.) were disected and their merits/faults argued. Unfortunately at the time I was reading this there was someting "hosed on the host" and my attempts to save it met with errors. Today it is gone, like so much dust in the wind..... If anyone saved this message I would really appreciate it if they could for- ward it to me. Or, if the author reads this, I would be very grateful if you could resend/post it. Thanks - John
