For some reason rmail blows away other minor modes. I am trying to use Kyle Jones' automatic de/encryption routines with rmail, but the trouble is that rmail seems to forget (1) that the file was originally encrypted and (2) what the encryption key was. It just saves in plain text because the "Crypt" minor mode is lost. When I cheat and turn it on again, it has forgotten the encryption key. Something about rmail is blowing this away, and I am not a good enough elisp hacker to figure out how to prevent this. Any ideas?
