I say "successfully" since I can "decompress emacs-1854.tar sys$output" and see what's in the file. However, what I'd LIKE to do is issue some form of the decompress command so that the uncompressed files are automagically written to some form of directory structure (which would probably be the second parameter to the command, rather than a single output file). Can I do this? Or is there a Better Way?
