There was discussion earlier for converting images to HAM format.  Has
anyone worked on going the other way, converting the HAM image to 
pure RGB?  More specifically, algorithms that attempted to approximate
the original image before it was HAMed?  I would suspect that some sort
of digital image restoration technique would do the job, but this is not
my
area of expertise.

Any hints, code, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
