Lines: 38 References: I recently aquired a RAMTEK 6211 graphics terminal in duboius condition. It appears to at least partially work, ie: cat /unix > /dev/tty000 produces a screen full of various sized fonts and vectors. The terminal came with a keyboard but no connecting cable, and no documentation. Ramtek can sell me manuals at $175 for the complete set (hardware, software and users guide) but I'd like to make sure that it works (or can be made to work) before I fork out that much money. To that end, I'm looking for answers to some questions: 1) Is this worth it? Or should I use it for an RGB monitor and forget it? 2) What can this thing do? Its a color monitor with 6 Z80's and a bunch of memory, so it should do something. 3) Anyone know how to program this sucker? Even hints would be appreciated. Demo files would be wonderful. 4) I have a keyboard, but no cable. I've tried various combinations, but I've had no luck trying to make one. Does anyone know how to wire the thing? (The keyboard doesn't have a socket, just holes in the pc board where the wires used to be) Any help/hints/comments/flames would be appreciated. :alex Alex Crain Systems Programmer alex@umbc3.umbc.edu Univ Md Baltimore County umbc3.umbc.edu!nerwin!alex
