Hello, I desperately need as much algorithms, tips & source as possible for 
solving the two following problems:

1) accessing a scanner online and putting the raster data into extended
   or expanded memory.
2) converting the raster data to lines (yes, only lines needed!).

Any help forthcoming? I would prefer it by mail, since I often miss News
items.	Thanx a million!
