The "owner-" hack was exactly what I needed. For those of you who, like myself, were not aware of this particular aspect of sendmail, I will summarize. If you have an alias in your aliases file called (for example) "foo-list", then you may also include another alias called "owner-foo-list". Errors in sending to "foo-list" will then go to the user(s) listed in "owner-foo-list".
