Keywords: decus, uunet Message-ID: <16945@versatc.UUCP> Date: 1 May 89 06:53:50 GMT Followup-To: poster Organization: Versatec Inc., Santa Clara, CA Lines: 18 In going over the UUNET archive server listing, I ran into several useful VMS tools such as vms-vi, emacs.vms, vms.tar ... (I guess they are mostly related to unix in some way or the other). My question is: Is there any plan to distribute DECUS tape via UUNET instead of doing it the good old-fashioned way {manual duplication and swap the tape with the one from a DECUS member}. Is there a more effective way of distributing the DECUS software other than just swapping tapes? Thanks in advance, Tony Tran (a faithful DECUS member and a Vmsnet fan) -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- UUCP: {ames, apple, sun, pyramid}!versatc!tran Tony Tran (408) 982-4317 ARPA: tran@arisia.xerox.com " The plotter is the computer " -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
