I can access FTP, but have no idea where to look or what to look for. My OS is CP/M 2.2. Specifically, I am looking for: a) Some sort of interpreter or compiler with accompanying decent docs. b) A database which I can use for filing away my journal references. c) A spreadsheet which handles scientific notation. d) A word processor, doesn't have to be too fancy. In fact, I don't like these new fangled ones like WordPerfect too much. :-) In addition: a) A good introductory manual to CP/M, as detailed with respect to how the OS works as possible (but not -too- esoteric). b) Information on how to use the printer driver I got with my machine to try and determine what sort of printer I should buy. I know that I require one with a serial interface -- will ANY serial interface do? Boy...those should do for starters. If I think of any more, I'll zing them out. :-) Thanks muchly. __________________________________ | | David Slonosky/QueensU/CA,"",CA | Know thyself? | SLONOSKY@QUCDN | If I knew myself, I'd run away. | |__________________________________|
