Comments, anyone? Van Jacobson at Lawrence Berkeley Labs has gotten ~9Mbit performance from an experimental version of TCP/IP (with full checksumming) on Sun 3/50s and 3/60s. (about MacII speed processors) With enough optimization AppleTalk should be able to do this, as well. Peter Desnoyers
