I am trying to put together a mock SONAR system to use in my research
in real-time caches.  I would appreciate any good references to articles
that talk about the components of a typical SONAR system (ie what each
component does and how), as well as possible sources of code (digital
filters, beamforming, etc).  In general, I'd like to get "quasi" smart
about SONAR systems, and be able to generate address traces for my 
research.  Any pointers are appreciated.
