If it's the wm I'm thinking about ("A Simple Window Manager"--it says
"Welcome to Andrew" when you start up), then you can't have it.  It
was developed here at CMU with IBM funds and IBM hasn't loosened their
copyright enough to allow it to be distributed off-site.

I have heard before that a few binary versions have illicitly gotten
out.  I heard an anecdote where a CMU person found a copy of wm on a
machine at some exposition and started it up.  Someone else came by
and remarked "Wow!  How did you get X to run so fast?"
