The proposed Standard is currently delayed until a 15-day response period for a "late correspondent" (not his fault) expires, after which if the correspondent has filed an objection to the official X3J11 response to his comments there will be a 20-day X3 ballot. If no objection is files, no additional ballot will be necessary. After final X3 approval, the proposed Standard will be sent to ANSI for ratification. We should know more sometime in June.
