I'd like to do all this in color. I believe there's a program called ?MovieSetter?ComicSetter?? that does what you want (it's too late and I'm tired). I've seen it, it can do pretty nice animated cartoons, complete with sound effects. ComicSetter is, I believe, a comic book/strip creation program.
