You can get a VGA monitor for less than $375 now. I've seen multisync monitors for as low as $425, and, in fact, am probably getting one so that I can use it with the new Amiga chipset whenever it comes out. OS/2's problem is that it requires as much memory and disk space as Unix, but without the portability advantages..... yet there's still fools who are converting their programs for OS/2.
