Actually, they might flicker more. Many multisync's are not designed to handle an interlaced signal. When they try to display one, the even and odd scan lines are not always put in the same spot. The end result is that text becomes almost impossible to read and a headache is guarenteed. The moral: try a multisync before you buy; if you can't do that then make sure the dealer won't hassle you if you return it.
