In comp.binaries.ibm.pc it is much simplified so that those with Unix facilities can de-shar and those without don't have much knitting to do. It would be nice if c.b.a followed this practice. Failing this a PD unshar and sed would be very handy, this seeming to be the minimum to handle the postings. (I'm not against Unix, I like the system very much - on a Unix box!)
