What is Seagate's address? The department that handles bad drives would be fine. 2. Does everybody else who bought Seagates only get that print-out that says "PASSED" on it (and very little else, like NO address). How/where can I get some more info including their warranty (IN WRITING)? 3. Has anybody who has the spin-up problem try parking the heads before turning it off? In any event, anybody know how to park the heads? Or does it do so on its own after a period of non-activity? 4. (OK, I lied: four questions) Periodically when my hard disk is inactive it does a brief "chugachugachugachuga." Is it the drive or the controller (2090A)? What's'it doin'? Reply via e-mail or post as you see fit. I'll summarize and post anything I get. The more info distributed about Seagate drives the better. Thanks, joe piazza --- "Where's my other sock?" A.
