ECP8 is indeed freeware.  The source code and docs etc are available on
Compuserve, GEnie, and AppleLink PE as well as on my BBS (see .signature
below).

ECP16 never seems to be done as GS/OS changes too fast but I'm working on it
so I can release source code etc for it as well.
