Naturally, those wimpless folks wont like it, but for the window interface, mouse pointer folks, there is coming this fall a program which allows you to build window source code by point and click. I have been told that a) it is VERY slick and b) a demo disk is available. There is also a demo disk from the 386 microsystems folks - anyone have these and able to share them? Also, Zip folks are talking a 8 mhz Zip gs this summer, AE is talking about a new series of hard drives and First Class Perphs have 2 neat things - a faster - much faster - hard drive series which uses hardware cacheing to get some incredible (under 19 ms access) timings and an even newer D9 driver which allows 1:1 skewing for some incredible thruputs - there was a 20,000 block a minute verify timings talked about (the Apple SCSI controller can typically get about 2000-3000). I forget what all else was discussed. -- Larry W.
