Some of these items are pretty much exclusive to APDA (should be no other place that you can BUY tech notes other than APDA), and some are 3rd party software. 3) there is little if any discounts on 3rd party software - which is significantly different from TechAlliance's approach. Note that when TA had the APDA, many folks belly-ached about poor service. Apple decided that they couldnt have that, and so they took it over. Since TA was a coop, profit wasnt their primary purpose. Now that Apple has it, profit becomes a bigger issue. I warned MANY folks who were calling for Apple to take over APDA that they would not be pleased with the results. Mac folks seem to be pleased - many Apple II folks are not. -- Larry W.
