The MIDI "driver" in KA9Q merely uses the BIOS functions for reading and writing the MIDI port, same as it does for the serial port. I don't think that would be much use for OS9. However, this makes an interesting point - the MIDI port *is* just a serial port, really, controlled thru a 6850 ACIA. The keyboard is also accessed thru a 6850.
