(still) Summary: processor upgrade;sendmail;max file size Keywords: 3B2 Unix upgrade sendmail Message-ID: <924@uceng.UC.EDU> Date: 27 Apr 89 22:46:52 GMT Organization: Univ. of Cincinnati, College of Engg. Lines: 19 References: I have been trying to get information from AT&T about a processor upgrade for the 3B2/400. I have seen the product literature, but don't have it. Can someone verify it's exisistence (3 chip set - doubles clock rate, or such). The only thing the sales people know about is a multi-processor enhancement board, and they don't think it was designed for 3B2/400. I need a PEC number to get any assistance ... I found it in the manuals once (or at least was told by someone) how to change the max file size on 3B2. I can't create files greater than 1Meg, and it is causing me problems ... Enviroment variable? I forget ... Lots of people helped by sending me sendmail.cf files to use with Woolongong TCP/IP on the 3B2/400. They all (after appropriate name insertion, etc.) give the message "no local mailer defined ..." when I start sendmail up as a daemon. There is a line defining the local mailer to be /bin/mail, however ... Anyone have sendmail running on a 3B2/400 w/ Woolongon TCP/IP, and have any idea what I am talking about? :-) Thanks, Mike Finegan mfinegan@uceng.uc.edu
