We have a Storage Technology Corporation tape drive (1935 formatter,
1950 tape transport) that we would like to connect to a MicroVAX II.
We know that some vendors sell controllers that will work with this
drive if it has a Pertec (sorry, I don't know how this is supposed to
be spelled) interface.  Unfortunately, we don't have one, and I'm not
sure where to get one.  What I am looking for is a controller that
emulates a TMSCP tape drive and talks directly to the STC interface, or
a vendor for Pertec interfaces for this tape drive.  If you have any
information on either of these products please get in touch with me.
