It only works on the econo-mono-box. If you look at the output from the color dump all the bits are zero. As I recall, when I compiled X.V11R2 on my SUN 3/160C (8 plane color), I also got zero output. Hence, I expect that the problem lies in the X.V111R2 code. It may have been fixed in Release 3?
