I'm thinking about getting a hand-held scanner (like the Logitech ScanMan)
and was wondering what kind of software is out there to do OCR with it?

I see ads from various places that sell such software for hand-helds, but
they aren't clear what the capabilities are (and certainly not what the
problems might be).

Has anyone used any of this software?  How good is it?  What can/can't it do?
