The implementation of it used to require that you have four drive specifiers, each of which could be assigned to any hard drive and any partition. Because so many pieces of software think that any drive that exists is a valid, on-line drive, Zenith had to create a scheme that would create only valid drives. Automagic partition assignment was created. When automagic partition assignment is selected, C: will be assigned the first partition on the first hard drive. Unfortunately, you only have a choice between one automagic partition and four manual partitions.
