I've upgraded two 512ke's with the Dove 548s upgrade. That upgrades them to a total of 2Meg plus a SCSI. The only problem I have had is that one of them occasionally worked loose from the heat and caused intermittents. Popping the case and reseating the connectors takes care of that. That board is actually dead, currently, because I broke off a connector pin on one of the pressure clamps and haven't bothered to fix it (which is a cautionary tale: be careful handling it. More careful than I was). I've found these to be a good, cost effective way of upgrading. (actually, if you want to buy an almost working memory board without the SCSI, we could probably work out a cheap deal...) It's fully compatible with just about everything -- it works fine with my Jasmine disks and if you install the Xparam INIT, compatible with 6.0.2 and 6.0.3 (without the Xparam init, the only thing that doesn't work is choosing beep sounds).
