(again, sorry) Message-ID: <13303@dartvax.Dartmouth.EDU> Date: 2 May 89 03:17:55 GMT Sender: news@dartvax.Dartmouth.EDU Reply-To: quinn@killington.dartmouth.edu (Jerry Quinn) Organization: Dartmouth College Lines: 25 I'm interested in getting a ~40meg drive for my macplus. There are two companies offering substantially lower priced drives: MacLand - Macbest 40 external - 28ms @ $579 Hard Drives International - 45 Mb Miniscribe external - 28ms @ $549 These companies and prices were in the May MacWorld. Does anyone have any suggestions/complaints/compliments about either the companies or the drives I mentioned? I was warned about reliability in noname drives. either reply to the net or e-mail. thanks in advance, Jerry Quinn quinn@killington.dartmouth.edu
