I called Microsoft about the $50 upgrade form last September (I think, or whenever they announced it) fo I had not gotten one. They said not to worry for they hadn't mailed them yet (even though the deadline to return them had passed) and that I would be getting one. I also asked them about the Word Finder/MacroWorks III disk which I also hadn't received. They sent one out to me after much ado. I called them again when I heard 4.0 was shipping. They once again told me they hadn't sent out upgrade forms yet. BTW, they told me to call another number also. Finally I was put through to a nice lady who looked me up in their database and told me I could get the upgrade for $50 (plus $5.50 s/h) if I mailed my upgrade form to her with a note. I wonder if we talked to the same person. Her name was Carolyn. She was the first and only helpful person I have ever talked to at Microsoft. Even when I worked for an Apple dealership and used their dealer numbers I still got lousy support and service. I hope they get their act togther soon. However I haven't had any problems with Excel and upgrades. They always send me those upgrade forms. I only use it once in a while but I use Word almost everyday.
