There is a LaserWriter located relatively near my new office that is connected to 7 Macs via AppleTalk. That network appears to be at capacity. One of the users connected to that printer told me that the last time they tried adding another user, they could no longer print and the Chooser could no longer find the LaserWriter. What's the best way to expand this network? Some of the cable runs are fairly long, so it is probably operating near the maximum cumulative cable length. Is there some peripheral that we could buy that would let one or two additional users plug in to the network without requiring a change to the 7 nodes already connected? Do we have to do something to all of the existing connections? Any/all advice will be appreciated. Please post or mail as appropriate.
