I came across a freeware utility which lets you change its creator at will. More importantly, you can tell it to launch another app when it itself is launched. I have its creator set to be that of old MW and configured to launch MWII. It will also pass the document that was double-clicked on to MWII so that the doc is converted to MWII format when MWII launches. If you would like a copy of the utility, e-mail me. <- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -> Stephan Somogyi AppleLink: X1058 Software Engineer BIX: mulabs MacUser CIS: 72511,16 950 Tower Lane, 18th Floor GEnie, MacNET: MULABS Foster City, CA 94404 FAX: (415) 378-5675 ...sun!cup.portal.com!MacUserLabs or MacUserLabs@cup.portal.com If fun is outlawed, only outlaws will have fun.
