It should be no problem, just a matter of signing up, to get various benefits.  Note that the benefits include SOME limited technical information, SOME of which is redistributable, and you have to pay for system software licenses and the like approx $75/year.
 
Direct Technical Support is not a benefit, but the privelege of paying for an AppleLink account (optional) is.  At subsidized rates, however.
