Lines: 18 In June I will be purchasing a 12 Ms 3 1/2" Quantum Prodrive 80 from a company, it is a raw and unformattted drive, and they will be bundling UniMac hard disk software with it. I have taken a look at this before, and although it appears very versatile, it appears to be pretty whimpy. Is it? I also am aware Apple puts Quantums in all their factory configured Mac, so would I probably be best off using Apple HDSC Setup? I am curious as to what I should use to get maximum performance out of the drive. If it makes any difference, it will be run internally off a Mac IICX. Please leave me E-Mail, but if you feel you have a reply that the general public will benfit from, hell post it there too. Thanks very much. .________________________________________________________________________________. | UUCP: {amdahl!bungia, uuner!rosevax, chinet, killer}!orbit!pnet51!granteri | | ARPA: crash!orbit!pnet51!granteri@nosc.mil | | INET: granteri@pnet51.cts.com | |------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | This Mac Plus isn't mine, I'm just borrowing it, the IIX is in the shop. | !_______________________________________________________________________________!
