Please respond to his e-mail address listed below. Thanks for any help you can give Bob! ============================================================================= I am the proud owner of a MacNifty Audio Digitizer. I have had this product for the last three or four years and have had joys and fun of producing my own startup sounds and beep sounds. Now, I want to get some of these sounds to play from a Lightspeed C program I am writing for fun. I have a program that converts the startup sound (recorded at 11Khz) to an ASND resource file. I can use ResEdit to paste the resource into the Lightspeed C program resource file, but then what? I haven't the foggiest clue as to how to play the sound. Does anyone konw of a "generic" routine (in Lightspeed C) which will "open" an ASND resource and play it at the correct sampling rate? Are there any articles I could/should look at which explain how to play one of these sound resources? Thanks.
