We purchased a site licence for YTERM (from YALE) which is a vt100 emulator. YTERM seems to work in most respects, but the plane vt100 as known by the system is not 100% compatible with the YTERM emulation package. Does anyone use YTERM as a terminal emulator? Could anyone give me an idea about the vt100 suffixes, so I might make an educated guess on which vt100+suffix would be best? What vt100 emulator works best with SGI? 2) There have been 2 questions concerning tn3270 from the inception of this list to August 88 (the only archives I could find) and neither had replies. Is there a public domain tn3270 that works? I found a public domain tn3270 that is supposed to work with VAX and SUN but I ran into difficulties getting it to work with SGI. * I have subscribed to this list recently and I cannot be sure that my subscription has been achieved. So, if you plan to reply please include a CC to me.
