This posting is a request for information on the price/performance curve
of mid-range workstations (Approx. $20,000) over time.  It seems to me
that the prices in the mid-range have remained relatively constant, while
the performance has steadily improved.  I would like to quantify this.  I
need data on the performance and price of the various workstations
SUN1,2,3,4,SPARC,APOLLO,HP, etc. through the years.  Any pointers would be
very helpful.  I will summarize.
