damn, i got this problem too.  I'm using IBM's pc/ix mm macro package, but
i saw the problem with interactives mm package that was distributed with
ONYX system III. i only see it with nroff, not with adobe/ditroff. please
let me know how to fix it.  i just hack the output to get rid of the
zeroes, or don't use page numbers with nroff.
