We have the same problem.  We have the same configuration you specified.
In our case, the console cmdtool disappears overnight and any attempt to
use the mouse buttons after that results in sunview core dumping.  We have
reported this bug to Sun but have not yet gotten a response.  Anyone have
any solutions or know how to light a fire under these guys?
