Message-ID: <8904281232.aa23795@PARIS.ICS.UCI.EDU> Date: 28 Apr 89 19:28:50 GMT Sender: news@paris.ics.uci.edu Lines: 10 Does there exist a profiled version of X11 R3? I am working on a UIMS built on top of X and it is *really* slow ... it would be helpful to find out which Xlib calls are most expensive in terms of time. For example, I make extensive use of clip masks to limit the amount of screen redraw, but this may be undermining my attempts to make display updates efficient. Thanks, Mary Cameron
