Message-ID: Date: 27 Apr 89 19:53:47 GMT Sender: news@cs.columbia.edu Organization: Columbia University Computer Science Lines: 12 I would like the option of having my files auto-saved after a certain period of time as well as after a certain number of keystrokes. I say this because I was editing a file verrrry slowly, and I lost about 299 characters when I knocked my modem, but they were very carefully chosen characters and I can't bear to try to re-create them. Wordperfect (at least on the Amiga) does this, but it doesn't autosave after a certain number of keystrokes, and it doesn't look at whether the file has been modified since the last save.
