Sob, sob .... Here we are in the UK, happily taking news and mail via
UUCP. We (as far as I know) cannot be part of the Internet.

On the other hand, domain addressed mail works (thanks, ukc).

For the record, we have 4-6 hosts hidden behind moncam.co.uk, and we
are a small site.
