Keywords: Intel 4004 databook old 4289 microprocesor Message-ID: <1373@xn.LL.MIT.EDU> Date: 8 May 89 15:37:18 GMT Organization: MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Lexington, MA Lines: 24 I'm trying to get an old Intel 4004 processor working (the worlds first microprocessor, circa 1972.) Intel came out with a chip in 1975, and kept producing it until at least 1980, called the Intel 4289 interface. This was a circuit that allowed youto use Standard EPROMS with an Intel 4004 uProcessor. I have 4 of these intel 4289 chips, but no documentation on how to use it. My question: Anyone out there have an old Intel databook, possibly from right around 1980, or early 70's, that discusses this Intel 4289 IC? If you have it, I'll pay $10 plus shipping for it. More if you need more. Oh, and if anyone has any old Intel 4004 microprocessors they would like to part with, I've been paying people $30-$50 for them. tj@xn.ll.mit.edu or tj@ll-xn.UUCP Thomas E.
