It can be modified to support 5 1/4" drives - but only the old 360 Kb type. I would like to substitute a 1.2 Mb drive for the 8" unit. I believe that the 1.2 Mb drive uses the same 500 Khz data clock rate - so it should be possible... Does anyone out there know how to do this? I can change the device driver to support different parameters. What I need is the electrical hookup. Thanks in advance.
