Keywords: oracle Message-ID: <2447@rencon.UUCP> Date: 10 May 89 04:17:19 GMT Organization: Renaissance Consulting, Fremont, Ca. Lines: 20 I am trying to speed up Oracle progressing on my 386 Box running under Xenix 2.3.1 for the 386. Currently I am using the standard oracle configuration as given by Oracle. I have placed Oracle on it's own hard disk but it seems like it could go faster. Does anyone have a better configuration out there? I have the following hardware: Zenith 386 - 16MH - 8MB RAM 2 - 80MB Hard disks - System on one and Oracle on the other one. 6 - serial ports for login users via modems. Thanks for the help. -- Gary Falsken internet: gary@rencon usenet: {ames, pacbell, sun, pyramid, hpscdc, hplabs}!rencon!gary ---- is the preferred path.
