Does anyone know how (if) MultiTech 696EH's communicate with Courier
HST9600's ?  Can they communicate at 9600?  2400?  Does level 5
compression work between these two modems?

How about a HST9600 and a MultiTech 224EH with level 5 MNP...can these
two modems make use of level 5 to get >2400 effective speed?

Finally what about the MultiTech 696EH and MultiTech 224EH -- can they
do speed conversion together.

Is there an article somewhere that addresses compatibility among the
many choices of high speed modems?
