Lines: 15 Are there any inexpensive 2400 bps modems that have the 'relentless auto-dial' feature that the Telebit has? These modems will dial a pre-stored number when powered on, and dial it again and attempt to regain carrier whenever the line drops. Useful for leased lines or connections that you have to maintain over a period of time. The Telebit Trailblazer will do this, but that would be overkill for a 2400 bps connection. It also will re-dial the number every N seconds, I think, until it gets carrier. I guess if you enable this, you had better be *damn* sure that you have got a live modem number there, and not some person... -- Brad Templeton, Looking Glass Software Ltd. -- Waterloo, Ontario 519/884-7473
